Common faults of capacitors

Common failures of capacitors. When one of the following conditions of the capacitor is found, the power should be cut off immediately.
(1) Expansion of the capacitor case or oil leakage.
(2) The casing is ruptured, and there is a flashover and sparks.
(3) The sound inside the capacitor is abnormal.

(4) If the temperature of the outer casing rises above 55°C, the temperature indicator falls off.
